Acebra's first steps in the institutional field

On September 26, Acebra made its first official visit to the Consulado General de España en Río de Janeiro. The meeting took place between the consul Ángel Vázquez and the association's president Verónica Aran Ponte. During the meeting, the president introduced Acebra's main objectives for the coming months and the consul showed great interest in the newly formed association. Among the topics of discussion were the dissemination of Acebra in the media and institutions, our interest to locate the Spanish community living in Brazil, and the promotion of cooperation with different agents of interest. The event ended with a visit to the Ministry of Education department of the Spanish Consulate, which offered us support since they perform a great work and possess enormous experience in Brazilian lands.
